Ruby Thelma Banister Lancaster, age 89, of Gallatin, TN, formerly of Trigg Co., KY passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at the Golden Living Center in Gallatin, TN. Mrs. Lancaster was a member of Cadiz Baptist Church. She was a Homemaker. She is survived by her Son & Daughter-In-Law Donnie Ray & Betty Mae Lancaster, Gracey, Daughter & Son-In-Law Brenda & John Ham, Hendersonville, TN, Two Sisters Jean Bush, McKinney, TX and Caroline Ricks, Cadiz, KY, Grandchildren Carey Don & Sheri Lancaster, Judy Vier, Trudy & Kevin Carr, Cheri Patterson, Christi Champion, Jackie Neal Lancaster, Jr., Great Grandchildren Rachel Sidebottom, Alex Carr, Chance Lancaster, Hannah Lancaster, Josie Carr, Keirston Candler, Micah Candler, Maci Candler, Tad Patterson, Brennan Champion, Calllie Mathis. She was preceded in death by her Parents Henry Jackson & Australia Evangeline Carpenter Banister, Husband Arrice H. Lancaster, Son Jackie Lancaster and Sisters Blanche Freeman and Edith Campbell. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, May 13, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 11:30 AM Saturday, May 14, 2011 with the Reverend Kevin Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at East End Cemetery in Cadiz, KY.
