Sudie Lemmons, age 99, of Cadiz, KY, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz, KY. Mrs. Lemmons was a member of Cadiz Church of Christ and she was a retired seamstress. She is survived by her Son Otis "Hop" McAlister, Springfield, TN, 5 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, locally she is survived by Nephew Doug Wadlington, Cadiz, KY and Nieces Lindah Winstead, Cadiz, KY, Agnes Davis, Lacy, KY. She was preceded in death by her Parents Felix Grundy & Elsie L. Gardner Mitchell, Brother Amos Gardner, Five Sisters Alice Wadlington, Effie Stewart, Betty Devine, Birdie Weaver and Martha Bell Wadlington & Two Grandchildren Otis McAlister, Jr. & Edward Stewart McAlister. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Thursday, November 3, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Friday, November 4, 2011 with Randall Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Adams Cemetery in Trigg Co., KY.
