Mr. Oakley was a agriculture manager, member of Cadiz Baptist Church, NRA and was a avid sportsman. He was survived by: Wife - Penny Bridges Oakley, Cadiz, KY, Mother & Father - Mary Gardner & Herb Brandt, Hopkinsville, KY, One Son - Casey Oakley, Hopkinsville, KY, Sister & Brother-In-Law - Brenda & George Southwick, Cadiz, KY, Two Grandchildren- Chloe Ann Oakley & Olivia Ann Oakley, Brother-In-Law & Sister-In-Law- Bob & Patti BRame, Cadiz, KY. He was preceded in death by: Father - Norris Hayden Oakley, Grandparents-Monroe, Sr. & Alie Gardner, Uncle- Monroe Gardner, Jr. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday, June 13, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 14, 2011 with the Reverend Kevin Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at East End Cemetery in Cadiz, KY.
