Seldon Thomas, age 51, of Greenbrier, Tenn., formerly of Trigg Co., passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at NorthCrest Medical Ceter in Springfield, Tenn. He was a member of Hillview Baptist Church, Goodlettsville, TN., and was the operations manager for US Trucking. He is survived by his wife Anna (Graham) Thomas, Greenbrier, TN, Father Seldon Earl Thomas, Sr., Owensboro, KY, Mother Justine Johnson Vowell, Hopkinsville, KY Two Sons, Michael S. Thomas of Castalian Springs, Tenn., & Lee Thomas of Jackson, Ga., One Step Son John Poindexter of Hendersonville, Tenn., One Brother Danny Vowell, Hopkinsville, KY, Two Sisters, Gretchen Green of Norwalk, Conn. & Dawn Elizabeth Lambert of Owensboro, Ky., Four grandchildren and One step grandchild also survives. He was preceded in death by his Sister Belinda Carol Miller, Step Father Julian R. "Bobby" Vowell, Maternal Grandparents Charles Alpha & Rosie Lee Sowell Johnson, Paternal Grandparents Cecil S. & Dorothy Clark Thomas. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, Ky., where the family will receive friends from noon till 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 1, 2010. Funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home of Cadiz, KY at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 1, 2010, Reverend Stephen Ramsey and Dr. Bill Clark Thomas will be officiating. Interment will be at Delmont Baptist Church Cemetery in Trigg Co., KY.
