Mrs. Ruth Woodruff, age 87, of Cadiz, Ky., died Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz, Ky. She was a member of Cadiz Christian Church, Ophelia Chapter No. 55 Order of the Eastern Star, and a former member of the Homemakers club in Cadiz. She was a retired secretary of the Trigg Co. Middle School. She is survived by her Two Daughters & Sons-In-Law, Susan & Mitchell Bryant of Cadiz, Ky. and Layton & Bobby Harper of Cadiz, Ky. One Son, Nick Woodruff of Cadiz, Ky. Seven grandchildren- Landee Bryant, Katie Scott, Nicholas Woodruff, Aubrey Woodruff, Leah Harper, Ben Harper, Aaron Harper. Three great-grandchildren- Cannon Scott, Caden Scott and Mitchell Elliott Bryant. She was preceded in Death by: Husband-Aubrey L. Woodruff, Father-Edward Swickard, Mother-Panzy (Pruitt) Fairweather and One Grandson-Mitchell Lee Bryant. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, Ky., where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday, April 19, 2010. Funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home of Cadiz, KY at 2:00 PM Monday, April 19, 2010 , Dr. Tom Martin officiating. Interment will be at Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz, Ky.
