Ruby Calhoun Sumner, age 95, of Cadiz, Ky., died Thursday, January 7, 2010, at Caldwell County Medical Center in Princeton, Ky. She was a member of East Cadiz Baptist Church and a Homemaker. She is survived by her one daughter & son in law , Bobbie & Harlan Calhoun of Paducah, Ky., one son & daughter in law Bill H.& Brenda Sumner of Cadiz, Ky., two brothers, Bill Calhoun of Cadiz, Ky. and Lacy Calhoun of Grand Rivers, Ky., four grandchildren, Tamra & Perry Fourqurean, John K. & Beth Sumner, Camilla & Ray Diuguid, Harlan “Bud” & Allison Calhoun, Jr. six great-grandchildren Justin Calhoun, Jacob Calhoun, Rachel Diuguid, Alex Calhoun, Addi Fourqurean & Anna Fourqurean. She was preceded in death by her parents Harlan & Mary Emma Esther (Dixon) Calhoun, her husband Bayliss Hugh Sumner, two brothers Amos Calhoun & Hay Calhoun, two sisters Katie Calhoun & Lula Killmer. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, Ky., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 10, 2010. Funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home of Cadiz, KY at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 11, 2010 , Reverend Lester Watson and Reverend Archie Brock will be officiating. Interment will be at East End Cemetery in Cadiz, Ky.
