Robert E. "Bobby" Cook, age 77, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY. Robert E. "Bobby" Cook was of the Protestant Faith. He retired as the Christian County Police Chief. He is survived by his Father Ed Cook, Hopkinsville, KY, Three Daughters & Sons In Law Angie & Jim East, Hopkinsville, KY, Gaye & Steve Nunn, Hopkinsville, KY and Julie & Bert Partain, Hopkinsville, KY, Two Brothers Walter "Sonny" Cook, Hopkinsville, KY and Roy "Buddy" Cook, Hopkinsville, KY, Sister Martha Owen, Hopkinsville, KY, Grandchildren Shannon Taylor, Elliott Wall and Alyson Partain, Great Grandchildren Dylan Colley and Marley Taylor. He is preceded in death by his Mother Lillie Mae Blevins Cook, Wife Janice Cook, 1st wife Betty Cook. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM till 7:00 PM Friday, February 11, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 12, 2011 with the Reverend Bobby Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery in Trigg Co., KY.
