Richard Wadlington, age 74, of Cadiz, KY, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011, at his residence in Trigg Co., KY. Mr. Richard Wadlington was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, He was a retired plumber and involved with Relay for Life. He is survived by his Wife Carolyn Wadlington, Cadiz, KY, Son Richard Wadlington, Jr., NC, Daughter Kristine Wadlington, Cadiz, KY, Step Son Christopher Smith, West Palm Beach, FL, Step Daughter Jeanne Smith, West Palm Beach , FL, Sister Lucille LaBonte, West Palm Beach, FL, 7 Grandchildren & 4 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his Parents Ben John & Mary Ledford Wadlington, Brothers Thomas Wadlington, Bobby Wadlington, Earl Wadlington, Paul Wadlington and Ernest "Buck" Wadlington, Sister Sally Choate. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 23, 2011 with the Reverend Mark Thweatt officiating. Burial will follow at Wadlington Cemetery in Trigg County, KY.
