Prentice Edward Lawrence, age 87, of Cadiz, KY, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2012, at his residence in Cadiz, KY. Mr. Lawrence was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired farmer and carpenter. He is survived by his Wife of 65 years Louise Wilson Lawrence, Cadiz, KY, Daughters Pearl Lawrence Wells, Eddyville, KY and Bettye Lawrence Holt, Hopkinsville, KY, Grandchildren Ronnie Wells, Jr., Kisha Holt, David Holt, II, Brittany McCullough, Great Grandchildren Destiny Holt, Violet Holt & Rebecca Holt. He was preceded in death by his Parents James "Jim" Waymon & Delia Bell Hite Lawrence, Son Edward Earl Lawrence, Brother Robert Lee Lawrence and Sister Irene Barnett. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Funeral Service will be at Robertson Hite Cemetery at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 8, 2012 with the Reverend O. D. Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Robertson Hite Cemetery in Trigg County, KY.
