Peggy (Upton) Elkins, age 78, of Cadiz, Ky., passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010, at her residence in Cadiz, Ky. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and a Homemaker. She is survived by her Two Daughters & Son In Law Linda Padgett of Madison Heights, Mich., Jeanne & Kim Debaldo of Madison Heights, Mich., Two Sons and Daughters In Law John & Karin Elkins of Royal Oak, Mich., Tim & Connie Elkins of Davison, Mich., Two Sisters, Lavonne Upton of Clarkston, Mich. and Lanette DiPirro of Au Train, Mich., Two Brothers, Milton Upton of Escondido, Calif., and Nat Upton of Plano, Texas, Eleven grandchildren and Four great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her Father Nathaniel Kidd Upton, Sr., Mother Martha Evelyn (Ward) Upton, Husband Kenneth James Elkins, and Brothers Wendell Upton and Denson Upton. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, Ky.. Memorial service will be at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, at 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 8, 2010, with Reverend Richard Sexton officiating. A reception will be held following the memoral service at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
