Beverly Tyler Lacy

Beverly Tyler Lacy, age 66, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, in Hopkinsville.  Mrs. Lacy previously worked as a teller at Bank of Cadiz and as a nurse's aid at Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz, Kentucky.  She retired from Ebonite International in Hopkinsville, where she was employed as a quality inspector for 17 years.  She was a member of Cerulean Baptist Church in Cerulean, Kentucky.

Tony Huber

Tony Huber, age 43, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.  Mr. Huber was a heavy equipment mechanic for North Antelope Rochelle Mine in Gillette, Wyoming.  He was a United States Air Force veteran and was of the Catholic faith.

Marie L. Proffitt

Marie L. Proffitt, age 66, of Princeton, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Caldwell County Medical Center in Princeton.  Mrs. Proffitt had worked in the warehouse at Flynn Enterprises in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.  She was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Cadiz, Kentucky.

Barbara Stallons

Barbara Stallons, age 81, of Cadiz, Kentucky, a native of Golden Pond, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017, at her home in Cadiz.  Mrs. Stallons was a long-time employee of Clement Pharmacy in Cadiz and former owner/operator of Cottage of Gifts in Cadiz. She was of the Baptist faith.

Janice Litchfield

Janice Litchfield, age 70, of Gracey, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Bradford Heights in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.  In earlier years, Mrs. Litchfield worked as a cook for Trigg Manor Nursing Home and Lake Barkley State Resort Park in Cadiz, Kentucky.  She also previously worked at Grupo Antolin Kentucky Industries in Hopkinsville.  In recent years, she was a homemaker.  She was a previous member of the Ophelia Chapter No. 55, Order of the Eastern Star.  Mrs.

Steve Emery

Steve Emery, age 76, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017, at his home in Cadiz.  Mr. Emery and his father, Forest, owned and operated a barber shop in Evansville, Indiana from 1960 - 1971.  He retired as a salesman for Lawson Products and Evansville Garage Builders.  He was a member of Newburgh Masonic Lodge #174 in Newburgh, Indiana, a Kentucky Colonel, a former Eagle Scout leader, and the Flotilla Commander of Flotilla 8-7 of the U.S.

Robert A. "Bob" Daniel

Robert A. "Bob" Daniel, age 61, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.  Mr. Daniel worked as a quality engineer in the manufacturing industry for 21 years.  He was a supporter and member of the National Rifle Association of America.

Sharon Allen

Sharon Allen, age 50, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.  Mrs. Allen enjoyed camping and fishing and accompanying her husband, Dennis, while he worked as a truck driver on cross country trips.

Steve "Micca" White

Steve "Micca" White, age 61, of Tucson, Arizona, a native of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at Tucson Medical Center in Tucson.  Steve was a graduate of Trigg County High School in Cadiz, where he was a team member of the 1971 and 1972 Kentucky State High School football championship teams.  He was a member of Cadiz Baptist Church.

Robert Douglas Taylor

Mr. Robert Douglas Taylor, age 82, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.  Mr. Taylor grew up in Trigg County and served in the United States Army after graduating from high school. After his military service, he owned and operated restaurants in New York City for more than 50 years. Mr. Taylor was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by: his sister, Sybil Long and husband, Jim, Cadiz; and several nieces and nephews.

Charles H. "Charlie" Stamper

Charles H. "Charlie" Stamper, age 87, of Chandler, Arizona, a long time resident of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at his daughter's home in Chandler.  Mr.

Stephen E. Dzat

Stephen E. Dzat, age 59, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017, at his home in Cadiz.  Mr. Dzat was a self employed building contractor in the Tolland, Connecticut area.

Sheila Reimer

Sheila Reimer, age 60, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017, at her home in Cadiz.  Mrs. Reimer was retired from Lake Barkley State Resort Park in Cadiz, where she was the Dining Room Supervisor.

She is survived by: one aunt - Barbara Noschese (Richard), Cadiz; and her companion - Bobby Pocisk, Cadiz.

She was preceded in death by: her father - George Poziack; her mother - Rachel Hammonds Poziack Steen; her husband - Mark Reimer; her maternal grandmother - Annie Mae Atkins; and two aunts - Virginia "Jeanie" Hancock and Omega "Sally" Hancock.

T.H. "Rod" Herndon

T. H. "Rod" Herndon, age 84, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at his home in Cadiz.  Mr. Herndon worked as the superintendent at Cedar Bluff and Kentucky Stone Rock Quarries and retired as a supervisor at Vulcan Materials Company in Grand Rivers, Kentucky.  He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Trigg County and a United States Army veteran, having served in the Korean War.

Mr. Don Cloud

Don Cloud, age 90, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017, at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz.  Mr. Cloud was a retired school administrator in Chico, California and a World War II United States Army veteran.  He had been an active member of Bidwell Presbyterian Church in Chico.

He is survived by: one sister - Joyce Wallin, Covina, California; one son - Roy Cloud and wife, Lexy, Placerville, California; one daughter - Diane Garoppo and husband, Mike, Cadiz; one granddaughter - Callie Cloud, and one grandson - Wes Cloud, both of Placerville.
