Andrew Cross

Andrew Vincent Cross, age 50, of Oak Grove, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at his home in Oak Grove.  Sergeant Cross was active in the Tennessee Army National Guard and was most recently assigned to Troop B Support Squadron, 278th ACR, as a heavy diesel mechanic.  Prior to his National Guard assignment, SGT Cross served in the Regular Army, with tours in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Mary Dean Feltner Futrell

A celebration of life will be held for Mary Dean Feltner Futrell at noon, 12:00 PM CST, Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Rock Front Baptist Church, 3211 Linton Road (Highway 164) outside of Cadiz.  Dr. Futrell passed away July 17, 2017, in Nashville after a brief illness at age 93.

George Choate

George Odell Choate, age 74, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017, at his home in Cadiz.  Mr. Choate worked as an independent painting contractor at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky for more than 30 years.  He was a United States Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam era, from 1964 - 1966.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Lisa Williams

Lisa Williams, age 53, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.  Mrs. Williams was employed as a vendor stocker at the Ft.

Matthew "Loupie" Lambruno

Matthew "Loupie" Lambruno, age 26, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017, in Cadiz.  Mr. Lambruno was a crane operator and member of Local 181 of the International Union of Operating Engineers.  He was also a member of the American Motorcross Association and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Davis, West Virginia.  "Loupie" was a 2008 graduate of Trigg County High School.

Kim Massey Campbell

Kim Massey Campbell, age 58, of Princeton, Kentucky, a long time resident of Todd County, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017, at her home in Princeton.  Mrs.

John D. Reimer

John D. Reimer, age 65, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017, at his home in Cadiz.  Mr. Reimer was employed as a Safety Coordinator at D&W Fine Pack in Cadiz.  He previously worked at Lake Barkley State Resort Park in Trigg County and also volunteered at the golf course there.  Mr. Reimer was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by three brothers, Don Brashear (Vicki), Altoona, Iowa, Paul Reimer (Debbie), Newark, Ohio, and Matt Reimer, Des Moines, Iowa; one sister, Cheryl Brashear, Altoona, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

Hattie Fort Hammortree

Hattie Fort Hammortree, age 93, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Princeton Health and Rehabilitation Center in Princeton, KY.  Mrs. Hammortree was a member East Cadiz Baptist Church, the Thomas - Bridges Association, Trigg County Hospital Auxiliary & Ophelia Chapter No. 55 Order of the Eastern Star where she had served as chaplain.

She is survived by: One Son - Carl Blane Fort, Jacksonville, FL; One Sister - Sylvia Calhoun Myrtlye (James), Gilbert, AZ & Several Nieces, Nephews & Cousins.

Terry Moss

Terry Moss, age 60, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017, in Trigg County.  Mr. Moss was a truck driver who worked as an independent contractor for more than 30 years.  He was a volunteer at Micah Mission Center in Hopkinsville where he served weekly.  Terry was also a member of Cadiz United Methodist Church where he was an active member of the Methodist Men's Group and the SPR Committee.

Steve Francis

James Steven Coombs Francis, age 60, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at his home in Cadiz.  Mr. Francis was employed as a Social Security Disability Representative for over 29 years.  He was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation Trigg County Longspurs Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution Col. Stephen Trigg Chapter, and Wounded Warriors Outdoors.  Steve was also a member of the 1971-1972 Trigg County State Football Championship team. He was an active member of Crossroads Fellowship Church, where he served as a deacon.

Jerry Lloyd "Bud" Cannon

Jerry Lloyd "Bud" Cannon, age 73, of Nashville, Tennessee, a native of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at Tennessee State Veteran's Home in Clarksville, Tennessee.  Mr. Cannon was an HVAC technician and owner/operator of Cadiz Heating and Air Conditioning for over 25 years.  He was a United States Army veteran who served his country during the Vietnam Era.  "Bud" was a member of Delmont Baptist Church in Trigg County.

Martha Powell

Martha Powell, age 73, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.  Mrs. Powell was a homemaker and a member of Caldwell Blue Spring Baptist Church in Caldwell County, Kentucky.

Jim Lancaster

Jim Lancaster, age 72, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017, at his home in Cadiz.  Mr. Lancaster retired from the City of Cadiz where he served as the City Clerk for 27 years.  He was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church where he served as church treasurer.  Jim was a proud United States Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. He was an avid tennis player and enjoyed the sport for many years.

Carolin Edith Metcalf

Carolin Edith Metcalf, 79, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz.  Mrs. Metcalf was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Jefferson, Georgia.

She is survived by two sons, Sidney Metcalf and  Douglas Metcalf, both of Cadiz; one brother, E. B. Shannon of Jefferson, Georgia; two sisters, Vivian Thomas of Winder, Georgia, and Beatrice Can of Jefferson, Georgia; and special friend, Lolen Metcalf of Cadiz.

Steven "Steve" Silfies

Steven "Steve" Silfies, age 54, of Cerulean, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017, at his home in Cerulean.   Steve retired as a Master Sergeant with the 5th Special Forces Group from the United States Army and was currently serving the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a Detective with the Kentucky State Police, Post 2.
