Norene C. Tribble, age 93 of Owensboro, KY formerly of Cadiz, KY, died Saturday, January 30, 2010, at Wellington Parc in Owensboro, Ky. She was a member of Cadiz Christian Church and a Homemaker. She is survived by her one daughter, Faye Sweeden of Orlando, Fla., one son & daughter-in-law, Owen R. & Donna Tribble, Jr. of Owensboro, Ky., five grandchildren, Cindy Sweeden, Mark Sweeden, Michael Sweeden, Brad Tribble, Andrea Johnson and eight great-grandchildren, Samantha Sweeden, Sebastian Sweeden, Rachel Sweeden, Rebecca Sweeden, Sarah Sweeden, Hannah Sweeden, Alissa Sweeden, Lauren Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents James William & Minnie Myrtle (Davis) Courtney, her husband Owen Raymond Tribble, sisters Grace Darling Lacy, Nellie Opal Clark, Ruth Petty Rawlings, Annie May Gough, Louise Howard Hoefer, Twin Sister-Lorene Glover, brothers Hugh Davis Courtney, James Garnett Courtney & Raymond Thurston Courtney. Memorial contributions can be made to the Cadiz Christian Church, PO Box 1950, Cadiz, KY 42211. Serving as active pallbearers will be Mark Sweeden, Mike Sweeden, Brad Tribble, Scott Hancock, Lindsey Clark & Wesley Parker. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the Elders & Deacons of the Cadiz Christian Church.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, Ky., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 2, 2010. Funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home of Cadiz, KY at 9:00 AM Wednesday, February 3, 2010, Dr. Tom Martin officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Hopkinsville, Ky.
