N. L. Carney, III, age 82, of Cadiz, Ky., died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Princeton Health & Rehab, in Princeton, Ky. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was a US Navy Veteran serving in The Korean Conflict & Vietnam. He retired from the Military and retired from Ladd School in Rhode Island where he was a supervisor. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge, NRA. He is survived by his One Daughter, Jan (Carney) Suran of Seatlle, Wash., Two Sons Lynn Carney, IV of Niantic, Conn. & Gene Carney of Colorado Springs, Colo., Four grandchildren & Three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Father Norfleet Lynn Carney, Jr., Mother Lois Wilkinson (Malone) Carney, Wife Evelyn May (Essex) Carney, 1st wife Marion (Higgins) Carney, Sister Lois Bossman. There will be no services locally.
