Nell Ellis Meredith, age 82, of Cadiz, KY, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at her residence in Cadiz, KY. Mrs. Meredith was a member of Linton United Methodist Church, where she was a member of United Methodist Women. he was a homemaker and a former member of T.O.P.S. She is survived by Two Sons & Daughter In Law Robert Howard "Bobby" Meredith, Jr., Gallatin, TN and Ellis & Sandra Meredith, Cadiz, KY, Daughter & Son In Law Dixie Meredith & David Johnston, Sister Martha Vaughn, Hohenwald, TN, Grandchildren Lisa Meredith, Cole & Kellie Meredith, Brandon & Emily Meredtih, Robert Howard "Little Bobby" Meredith, III, Whitney Meredith, Britney Meredith, Brent Meredith, Brandi & Kris Southwood, Courtney Meredith, David & Summer Johnston, Meredith Johnston, Great Grandchildren Nicolas Jenkins, Christopher Jenkins, Brendon Burgess, Tyler Meredith, Olivia Meredith, Elizabeth Johnson, Curt Johnston, Colten Johnston, Kara Southwood, Alyssa Southwood and Payton Southwood. She was preceded in death by her Parents Parents Joe & Nellie Duncan Ellis, Husband Robert Howard Meredith, Sr., Four Brothers Ray Ellis, Rufus Ellis, Julian Ellis and Marvin Ellis, Three Sisters Thomas Mathis, Kathrine Walker and Jean Morgan. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Thursday, September 8, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Friday, September 9, 2011 with Terry Lee McNichols officiating. Burial will follow at Ezell Cemetery in Stewart Co., TN.
