Mr. Mike L. Thomas, age 63, of Hopkinsville, Ky., died Saturday, May 1, 2010, at VA Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. He was a US Army Vietnam veteran, a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church, VFW, Fraternal order of the Eagles and the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his
Two Sons & Daughter-In-Law, Mike & Susan Thomas of Hopkinsville, Ky. and Bryan Thomas of Hopkinsville, Ky. One Sister & Brother-In-Law, Nina & Frank Alderson of Cadiz, Ky.; One Brother & Sister-In-Law, Bobby & Eunice Thomas of Cadiz, Ky.; Three grandchildren-Tyler Adams, Bailey Thomas and Mike Thomas, Jr.. He was preceded in Death by: Father-Preston H. Thomas and Mother-Mary (Bridges) Thomas; Two Brothers- Harry Thomas and Buster James Thomas. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, Ky., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 4, 2010. Funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home of Cadiz, KY at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 5, 2010 , Reverend Irvin Darnall officiating. Interment with full military honors will be at Drury-Bridges Cemetery in Cadiz, Ky.
