Mary R. Mize, age 86, of Cadiz, KY passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Rivers Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa, Ky. She was a member of Cadiz Baptist Church and the former owner & operator of Wilkinson's Department Store. She is survived by her Two Sons, Denny Mize of Cerulean, Ky. and Jim Mize of Cadiz, Ky. 2 GrandchildrenVictoria Anne and Steven Freeman of Bowling Green, KY and Morgan Lewis Barby, also of Bowling Green, KY. 4 Great Grandchildren- Julia Kirby Freeman, Ava Lewis Freeman, Caroline Marie Freeman and Samuel Mize Freeman. She was preceded in death by her Parents George Lawrence & Julia Mae (Childress) Holmes, Husband Harold H. Mize and Brother Rober D. Holmes. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, Ky., where the family will receive friends from noon till 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 23, 2010. Funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home of Cadiz, KY at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 23, 2010 , Reverend Norman Ellis will be officiating. Interment will be at East End Cemetery in Cadiz, Ky.
