Mary Dell Dyer, age 96, of Cadiz, KY, passed Monday, January 16, 2012, at Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz, KY. Mrs. Dyer was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. She was the former owner & operator of Dyers Grocery from 1931-1951 in Cadiz, KY. She is survived by several nieces and nephews for whom she was a loving and devoted aunt, mentor and friend. She was preceded in death her Parents Henry & Mittie Goode Aldridge, Five Brothers Lacy Aldridge, Lackey Aldridge, Roy Aldridge, Arce Aldridge & Clyde Aldridge, Two Sisters Birtha Wilson & Pansy Barnard. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM till 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 18, 2012 with the Reverend Don Bunch & Dr. Hilda Bentley officiating. Burial will follow at East End Cemetery in Cadiz, KY.
