Larry E. "Red" Cossey, age 61, of Golden Pond, Ky., formerly of Trigg Co., KY passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2010, at his residence in Calvert City, Ky. He is survived by his one daughter & son in law, Tera & David Litchfield of Cadiz, Ky., mother Earnesteen Snider Jones, Paducah, KY two sisters, Patsy Hammond of Cadiz, Ky. and Brenda Brindley of Paducah, Ky., two brothers, Nelson Cossey of Benton, Ky. and Terry Jones of Paducah, Ky. He was preceded in death by his father Ander Elvis Cossey, brother Ricky Fay Cossey and Aunt Leonia Cossey. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, Ky., where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home of Cadiz, KY at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 13, 2010, with Reverend Terry Mitcheson officiating. Interment will be at Elm Grove Cemetery in Calloway, Ky.
