John Thomas, age 91, of Cadiz, KY, died Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz, KY. Mr. Thomas was a member of Donaldson Creek Baptist Church, was retired from TVA and was a US Army WW II veteran. He was survived by: Wife - Kathleen Burcham Thomas, Cadiz, KY, One Son & Daughter-In-Law - Mr. Paul and Bonnie Thomas, Cadiz, KY, One Grandson - John Paul Thomas, Nashville, TN and One Sister - Hazel Oliver, Hopkinsville, KY. He was preceded in death by: Father - Jim Thomas, Mother - Palestine Futrell Thomas, Three Brothers - Rub Thomas, Claude Thomas and Hervey Thomas, Two Sisters - Meda Burcham Tooke and Adell Skinner. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, February 14, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 15, 2011 with the Reverend Robert McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow at Futrell - Skinner Cemetery in Trigg County, KY.
