Jeffery Norman West, age 44, of Murray, KY, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011, in Paris, TN. Mr. West was a graduate of Mayfield High School & Bluegrass Community College. He presently was a student at Murray State University where he was pursuing a degree in horticulture. He was the past manager of the Broadbent Nursery and presently worked at Sullivan Golf Course in Murray, KY. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Murray, KY. He was survived by: Mother - Marcia Chumbler Broadbent, Cadiz, KY, Father & Step Mother- Ted & Fran West, Lake Powell, FL, One Sister & Brother-In-Law-Jan West & Jon Goldberg, Louisville, KY, Two Nieces-Lilly & Lauren Goldberg, Louisville, KY, One Step brother - Robert Kendall Broadbent, II, Nashville, TN, Two Step Sisters & Brothers-In-Law-Anne Vaughn & Mike Hargis, Lexington, KY, Nicole Manscill & Mike Marinobich, Denver, CO. He was preceded in death by: Step Father - Robert K. "Bob" Broadbent. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Cadiz Baptist Church in Cadiz, KY. Funeral Service will be at Cadiz Baptist Church at 11:00 AM Friday, December 16, 2011 with the Reverend Kevin Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Wall Cemetery in Wallonia, KY.
