James W. "Jay" Witty, age 53, of Cerulean, KY, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY. Mr. Witty was the Chief Engineer of the Design Branch at Ft. Campbell, KY, was a member of Cadiz United Methodist Church and was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles where he had served as past state and local president. He was survied by: Wife - Pam Witty, Cerulean, KY, Two Sisters- Vicki Witty Stroud, Cerulean, KY and Jackie Witty Everett, Hopkinsville, KY and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: Father - Harold W. Witty, Mother - Dorothy Perry Witty and One Brother - Bruce Perry Witty. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Friday, December 17, 2010 and their will be a Eagles Memorial Service that evening at 6:00 PM. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 18, 2010 with the Reverend Reverend Steven Spitzer Rev. John Street officiating. Burial will follow at Cerulean Cemetery in Cerulean, KY.
