James Paul Mullen, age 79, of Cadiz, Ky., passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz, Ky. He was a retired mechanic and of the Baptist Faith. He was a US Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his one daughter, Vivian Riddle of Cadiz, Ky., Two Sons, Monty Mullen of Hopkinsville, Ky. and James Brandon Mullen of Cadiz, Ky. Two Sisters, Margie McGehee of Greenville, Ky. and Fannie Bell Cummins of Gautier, Miss. One Brother, Alfred Mullen of Hopkinsville, Ky. Seven grandchildren- Michael Mullen, Lucas Riddle, Bridgette Mullen, Brandi Mullen, Andrea Rogers, Jennifer Gonzalez and Halen Mullen. Nine great-grandchildren- Christopher Calhoun, Dustin Dunn, Sarah Dunn, Haydon Rogers, Haley Rogers, Savannah Riddle, Peyton Riddle, Braden Stroble and Jamison Sumner.  He was preceded in Death by: Father-Elvin Mullen, Mother-Willie Bell (Wheeler) Mullen, One Son-Anthony Mullen, One Brother-Elvin Mullen, Jr. and One Sister-Bobbye Cherry.  Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, Ky., where the family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home of Cadiz, KY at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 13, 2010 , Reverend Chester McGehee officiating. Interment will be at Bell's Chapel Cemetery in Elkton, Ky.
