SERVICES: Service will be held at Goodwin Funeral Home of Cadiz, KY on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM      MINISTER: The Clergy will be Reverend Bill Fort, Reverend Kevin Roberts                                                     
BURIAL: Burial will be at Eddy Creek Cemetery, in Caldwell Co., KY  
VISITATION: Visitation will be at Goodwin Funeral Home of Cadiz, KY on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

CHURCH MEMBERSHIP: Member of Cadiz Baptist Church, he was also a Deacon         
OCCUPATION: Mr. Mathis was elected as Trigg County Judge in 1965, where he served 2 terms. He also served 2 terms as Trigg County Sheriff. He worked for the State Motor Vehicle Commission and retired from The Cabinet of Transportation. He was a member of Cadiz Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He had served as chairman of the Trigg Co. Democratic Committee and also was a member of the Cadiz Rotary Club, former member of the Jaycee's and Cadiz/Trigg Co. Chamber of Commerce.
