Rev. James J. Shuck, age 85, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Friday, September 02, 2011, at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz, KY. Rev. Shuck was retired form General Motors/Medora Wesleyan of Anderson, IN. He also pastored at South Anderson Wesleyan Church, Alexandria Wesleyan Church and Medora Wesleyan Church. He was a member of Central Wesleyan Church in Anderson, IN and was active in foreign missions, particulary Mission Builders for Christ. He was survived by: Three Sons - Rev. James Shuck, Cadiz, KY, Jay Shuck, Madisonville, KY, John Shuck, Anderson, IN, One Brother - William Shuck, Anderson, IN, Two Sisters - Betty Allen, Muncie, IN, Mary Ann Salisbury, Anderson, IN, Eight Grandchildren- Brian Shuck, Brad Shuck, Jason Shuck, Scott Shuck, Teresa Shuck, Alissa Shuck, Adam Shuck and Ausin Shuck, Ten Great Grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by: Father - Clarence Shuck, Mother - Minnie Shuck, Wife - Virginia Shuck, Two Grandchildren - John Shuck, Jr. and Jay Shuck. Arrangements are being handled locally by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., Cadiz, KY 42211. Visitation for Rev. Shuck will be at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home in Anderson, IN, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST Monday, September 05, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home at 1:00 PM EST Tuesday, September 06, 2011 with the Rev. James Shuck, Jay Shuck and Rev. Paul Trent officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson, IN.
