Izora Smith McKinney, age 75, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011, at Princeton Health and Rehab Center in Princeton, KY. Mrs. McKinney had worked as a physical therapist assistant. She was a member of Joiner's Chapel Church of Christ, Order of the Eastern Star, Linton Chapter, Epsilon Sigma Alpha and the Trigg County Homemaker's Club. She was survived by: Husband of 57 years - Clarence McKinney, Sr., Cadiz, KY, One Son & Daughter-In-Law- C.L., Jr. & Rhonda McKinney, Pegram, TN, One Daughter - Elizabeth McKinney, Atlanta, GA, One Brother - Gene Heard, Evansville, IN, One Sister - Lurline Whitney, Christian Co., KY, Two Grandsons - Drew McKinney & Zach McKinney. She was preceded in death by: Father - Bennie Gilbert Smith, Mother - Mariah Blackford Smith, One Brother - Edward Heard. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, December 15, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Friday, December 16, 2011 with the Rodney Cheatham officiating. Burial will follow at Joiner's Chapel Cemetery in Cadiz, KY.
