Georgia Rose, age 83, of Cadiz, KY, passed away on Thursday, November 04, 2010, at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz, KY. Mrs. Georgia Rose was a Homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church in Hopkinsville, KY. She was survived by her Daughters Mamie Jean Calhoun, Cadiz, KY and Deborah Jo Burt, Cedar Hill, TN, Two Grandchildren Jennifer Boone, Cadiz, KY and Shaun Rose, Cedar Hill, TN, Two Great Grandchildren Bailey Boone and Camryn Boone. She was preceded in death by her Parents Tandy & Mamie Frances Williams Calhoun, Husband Allen Ray Rose, Brothers Glennwood Calhoun and Robert Lane Calhoun, Two Sister Nell Fort and Ora Mae Thomas. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 07, 2010. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Monday, November 08, 2010 with the Reverend Bill Fort officiating. Burial will follow at East End Cemetery in Cadiz, KY.
