Gene DeLawson, age 87, of Crofton, KY, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville, KY. Mr. DeLawson was a farmer, he attended Empire Pentecostal Church in Crofton, KY and was a member of Wallonia Christian Church in Wallonia, KY. He was a member of Cadiz Masonic Lodge No. 121 where he had served as Past Master. He is survived by: Wife - June Allen DeLawson, Crofton, KY, Grand Daughter- April Stewart & Great Grand Daughter- Terissa Stewart of the home, One Son & Daughter-In-Law-Jimmy & Trish DeLawson, Bowling Green, KY, One Daughter & Son-In-Law- Linda Lou Chubick-Nobles & George, Prattville, AL, Two Step Sons - Anthony "Tony" Ward & Jerry Saulmon, One Step Daughter - Lana Ward, One Brother - Wylie DeLawson, Princeton, KY, Grandchildren- Kevin DeLawson, Kelly Stagner, Jeff Chubick, Jenifer Tritz, William Nobles & Jessica Nobles, also Five Great Grandchildren survive. He was preceded in death by: Father - Wade DeLawson, Mother - Ethel Mae Oliver DeLawson, Two Brothers- Orbie Lewis DeLawson & Jewell DeLawson, One Sister- Susie Bell Oliver & One Step Daughter- Vonda Shelton. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY. Graveside Funeral Service will be at Nichols Cemetery at 3:00 PM Monday, February 6, 2012 with the Reverend Ronnie Sivells officiating
