Frances Virgilene Hancock Francis Laws, age 90, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Saturday, December 03, 2011, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY. Mrs. Laws was a homemaker and of the pentecostal faith. Se was survived by: Two Sons & Daughter-In-Law- Thomas & EllIn Francis, Lafayette, KY & Marvin Francis, II, Cadiz, KY, Nine Grandchildren & a number of Great & Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: 1st Husband - Marvin Eugene Francis, Sr., 2nd Husband - William F. Laws, Father - Ernest Warfield Hancock, Mother - Iva Lois Hancock, One Son - Garrison Francis, Six Sisters-Hazel Lyle, Beulah Goldman, Vesta Hancock, Stella Melton, Macel McFarland & Annie Laura Hooker, One Brother- Brandon Bracey.. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, December 05, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Tuesday, December 06, 2011 with Bradley Rickard officiating. Burial will follow at Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz, KY.
