Ernest "Buck" Wadlington, age 82, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Friday, July 15, 2011, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY. Mr. Wadlington was a retired farmer and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He was a US Army Veteran having served in the Korean War. He was survived by: Three Daughters & Sons-In-Law - Linda & Danny DeLoach, Cadiz, KY, Debbie & Jeff Lamb, Hopkinsville, KY & Peggy O'Bryant, Cadiz, KY, One Brother - Richard Wadlington, Cadiz, KY, One Sister - Lucille LaBonte, West Palm Beach, FL, Grandchildren- Jonathan & Julie Wadlington, Brian Wadlington, Kayla Lamb, Evan Deloach, Great Grandchildren- Cole Wadlington, Walker Wadlington, McKinley Wadlington, Caleb Wadlinton, Megan Wadlington. He was preceded in death by: Wife - Opal Hunter Wadlington, Father - Ben J. Wadlington, Mother - Mary Ledford Wadlington, Four Brothers - Thomas Wadlington, Bobby Wadlington, Earl Wadlington & Paul Wadlington, One Sister - Sally Choate. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Sunday, July 17, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, July 18, 2011 with the Reverend Irvin Darnall officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Wadlington Cemetery in Trigg Co., KY.
