Edward Rigby, age 83, of Cadiz, KY, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz, KY. Mr. Rigby was of the Methodist faith. He was a US Navy veteran serving in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a retired bus driver with 26 years of service in the Washington DC area and also retired from the Umitilla Army Depot in Hermiston, OR. Mr. Rigby was a member of the American Legion, Elks Club and Moose Lodge. He is survived by his Wife Gloria Rigby, Cadiz, KY, Son Charles Rigby, Fredericksburg, VA, 2 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents Homer & Bessie Langford Rigby, Daughter Terri Rigby, Sister Hazel West, Brother Robert Rigby and Grandchild Michael Rigby. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
