Mrs. Dorothy (Miller) Ladd, age 82, of Cadiz, Ky., died Monday, June 7, 2010, at Princeton Health and Rehab Center in Princeton, Ky. She was a homemaker and had previously worked at the International Shoe Factory and Flynn's Manufacturing. She was a member of Buffalo Lick Baptist Church and had previously volunteered for the American Red Cross chapter in Cadiz, KY. She is survived by her husband Amos E. Ladd of Cadiz, KY; One Daughter, Paula Ladd of Cadiz, Ky. One Son, Jimmy Ladd of Cadiz, Ky. Four Sisters, Betty Ladd of Cadiz, KY, Rowena Rawlins of Christian Co., KY, Ruby Jo Shanklin of Christian Co., KY and Rebecca Hall of Cadiz, KY. Two Brothers, Robert Miller and Carl Ray Miller, both of Cadiz, KY. Three grandchildren- Amanda Renee Ladd, Emilia Brooke Ladd and Hunter Elizabeth Ladd. She was preceded in Death by: Father-James David Miller and Mother-Lucy Bell (Kemp) Miller, One Brother-David Miller, Two Sisters-Mabel Wells and Flora Stewart Bell. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, Ky., where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Wednesday, June 9, 2010. Graveside services will be at Stewart Cemetery in Gracey, KY at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 10, 2010 , Reverend Darrel Porche officiating.
