Dorothy (Berkley) Downs, age 77, of Cadiz, Ky., passed away on Monday, August 30, 2010, at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz, Ky. She was a member of East Cadiz Baptist Church, she retired from Matel and was the Manager at The Pantry in Cadiz for many years. Surviving relatives Sister In Law Jacqueline Dixon Berkley, Batavia, IL, Nephew Kenneth & Gloria Berkley, Nieces Vicki & Doug Jones, Joy & Brad Badgerow, Great Nephews and Nieces Kevin & Jennie Berkley, Tara Jones, Matthew Jones, Mandi Washburn, Dustin Washburn, & Meghan Badgerow. Great Great Niece & Nephew Kaya Berkley & Lukas Berkley. She was preceded in death by her Father James Berkley, Mother Carrie Florence Shaw Berkley, Brother Ray Berkley, Sister Winnie Berkley. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, Ky., where the family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 2, 2010. Funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 3, 2010, with Reverend Greg McNichols officiating. Interment will be at Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz, Ky.
