Doris R. Hayes, age 71, of Cadiz, KY, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY. Mrs. Hayes was a member of Canton Baptist Church and she was a Homemaker. She is survived by her Husband Jasper Joe Hayes, Cadiz, KY, Son Robin Joe Hayes, Cadiz, KY, Brother & Sister-In-Law Wilford & Ruth Herndon, Cadiz, KY, Sisters & Brothers-In-Law Polly & Billy Thomas and Gwenna & Ricky Settle, both of Cadiz, KY. She was preceded in death by her Parents Henry Loyd "Buck" & Kathleen Ezell Herndon & One Sister Blanche Herndon. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM till 9:00 PM Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 3, 2011 with the Reverend Eugene Powell and Reverend Paul Cannon officiating. Burial will follow at McIntosh Cemetery in Trigg Co., KY.
