Helen Dean Calhoun Taylor, age 103, of Madisonville, KY, formerly of Cadiz, KY passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011, at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker. She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church in Hopkinsville, Ky and was a former member of the Farmington Homemakers Club. She was survived by: One Son & Daughter-In-Law- Dr. William B. & PaulaTaylor, Hawesville, KY, Two Daughters & Son-In-Law - NaDean Boaz, Madisonville, KY, Betty Jean & Wilford Lancaster, Hopkinsville, KY, Two Sisters - Irene Noel, Hopkinsville, KY, Lorene Smith, Paducah, KY, Three Grandchildren- Renee Blalock, Mark Boaz, Craig Boaz, 13 Great Grandchildren- Bartley Ray Whitlow, LeAnn Whitlow, Victoria Blalock, Ethan Blalock, John Stalls, Cheyenne Lindey, Christopher Boaz, Michael Shoulders, Casandra Lockard, Lindsey Blalock, Rebecca Taylor, Cathy Taylor, John Boaz, Two Great Grandchildren- McKenzie & Kaitlyn Shoulders. She was preceded in death by: Husband - Rev. Bartley Taylor, Father - Henry L. Calhoun, Mother - Donie Ricks Calhoun, Three Grandchildren- William B. Taylor, Jr., Tammy Lindey, Danielle Taylor, Four Brothers- Roscoe Calhoun, Martin Calhoun, Roy Calhoun, Herschel Calhoun, also four in infancy, One Sister - Josephine Cunningham. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, August 02, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 03, 2011 with the Dr. William B. Taylor, Rev. Stephanie Boaz & Rev. Ron Henn officiating.
