Darlene Sherbit, age 79, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville, KY. Mrs. Sherbit was a homemaker. She was a member of Cadiz Baptist Church. She was a founding member of T.O.P.S. of Trigg County, both club #400 & #497. She is survived by her Husband Gilbert Sherbit, Cadiz, KY, Sons & Daughter In Law Randy Henry, Sparta, IL, John & Kelly Sherbit, Wheatfield, IN, Daughters & Son In Law Brenda & Sam Noojin, Hammond, IN, - Linda Pote, Hammond, IN, Sister & Brother In Lw Charlotte & George Evilsizer, Herrin, IL, Eleven Grandchildren and Nine Great Grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her Parents Francis M. & Velma B. Hannis Greenwood, Sons Bruce Henry, Ricky Henry and Jimmy Sherbit, Daughter Brenda Henry, Two Brothers Henry Greenwood and Kenneth Greenwood, Three Sisters Sybil Lee, Mildred Darnell and Nadine Tennison. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Thursday, April 21, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Friday, April 22, 2011 with the Reverend Kevin Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz, KY.
