Dale Calhoun, age 70, of Cadiz, Ky., passed away on Monday, July 12, 2010, at her residence in Cadiz, Ky. She was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and Church Treasurer. She is survived by her Sister, Sue Anna King of Cadiz, Ky., Brother In Law & Sister In Law Tommy Paulette Calhoun of Cadiz, Ky. She was preceded in death by her Father Homer Blane Thomas, Mother Beulah (Bridges) Thomas, Husband Marvin "Goober" Calhoun, Son William Dale Smith, Brother Robert Blane Thomas and Sister Dora Larue Oliver. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, Ky., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM on Friday, July 16, 2010. Funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home of Cadiz, KY at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 17, 2010, with Reverend Ronnie Hooks and Reverend Irvin Darnall officiating. Interment will be at Lucian Thomas Family Cemetery in Trigg Co., Ky.
