Mr. Charles W. Hancock, age 73, of Hopkinsville, Ky., died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Ky. He was a retired residential and commercial painter, was a US Navy Korean Conflict veteran and a member of Rock Front Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Betty T. Hancock of Hopkinsville, KY; One Son & Daughter-In-Law, William Jeffery & Patricia Hancock of Frankfort, Ky. Four Sisters, Mary Edmonds, Linda Thomas, Judy Edmonds, and Helen Hite, all of Cadiz, Ky. Three Brothers, Robert L. Hancock, Franklin D. Hancock, Roy E. Hancock, all of Cadiz, Ky. One Grandaughter- Isabel Hancock. He was preceded in Death by: Father-Luther Hancock, Mother-Augusta (Carpenter) Hancock, Five Brothers-John T. Hancock, James L. Hancock, Ernest "De De" Hancock, Leslie Hancock and Howard D. Hancock. Three Sisters-Ann Hardy, Margurite Hancock and Laura Humphries. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, Ky.. Graveside service will be at Green Hill Memorial Gardens at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 3, 2010 , Reverend Norman Cotton officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Gayle Terrell, Joe Lee Terrell, David Hardy, Milburn Hardy, Jackie Humphries, Denny Thomas, Nick Edmonds and Barry Hancock.
