Carl Pool, age 67, of Cadiz, Ky., passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Ky. He was a member of East Cadiz Baptist Church. He was also a US Navy Veteran, He retired from Phelps Dodge, He was a member of the American Legion, Former Pres. of Trigg Co. Booster Club, He also volunteered as both Football & Baseball Coach for many years. He is survived by his wife Sandy (Wyatt) Pool, Cadiz, KY One Daughter, Michelle Pool of Cadiz, Ky., Three Sons & Daughters In Law, Michael Pool of Cadiz, Ky., Mark & Judy Pool of Cadiz, Ky., Larry & June Pool of Princeton, Ky. One Brother & Sister In Law, David & Faye Pool of Hopkinsville, Ky. and Seven grandchildren, Skylar Pool, Raylan Pool, Cody Woody, Drew Pool, Stephany Pool, Andra Pool & Alex Pool. He was preceded in death by Mother Edith (McCargo) Pool, Father Utha Pool. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, Ky., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 8, 2010, with full military honors, Reverend Lester Watson will be officiating. Interment will be at Kentucky Veteran's Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, Ky.
