Bob Thornton, age 71, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011, at his home in Cadiz, KY. Mr. Thornton was a retired concrete finisher, had served in the US Army, was a member of the AMVETS and the American Legion. He was survived by: Two Daughters- Tania Wood, Cadiz, KY & Debbie Rogers, Seattle, WA, One Son - Colten Thornton, Seattle, WA, Three Grandchildren- Michael Wood, Connie Thornton & Linzie Rogers. He was preceded in death by: Wife - Bonnie Thornton, Father - Virgil Thornton & Mother - Dorothy Thornton. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
