Betty (Futrell) Thomas, age 59, of Cadiz, Ky., died Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Ky. She was a member of Gracey West Union Baptist Church. She was employed at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where she was a RN. She is survived by her Mother Vivian Burcham Futrell, Cadiz, KY, Two Step Sons, Barry Haydon Thomas of Hopkinsville, Ky. and Joseph Lee Thomas of Washington, D.C., Three Sisters, Elwanda Adams of Hopkinsville, Ky., Angelia Cook of Cadiz, Ky., Lanita Cox of Taylorsville, Ill., Two Brothers, Jimmy Futrell of Hopkinsville, Ky., Robert Futrell of Russellville, Ky., and Two Step Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Father-Dillard Elas Futrell and her Husband Darce H. Thomas. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, Ky., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, March 19, 2010. Funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc. at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 20, 2010 , Reverend Bradley Cornelius will be officiating.
