Bertha "Wink" Sumner, age 82, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Saturday, September 03, 2011, at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz, KY. Mrs. Sumner was retired from Trigg Hosiery Mill and from American National Rubber. She was a member of Cadiz Baptist Church. She is survived by: Husband of 64 years - LT Sumner, Cadiz, KY, Two Daughters & Sons-in-law- Wanda & Johnny Meadows, Cadiz, KY, Susie & Bill Ashby, Cadiz, KY, One Sister & Brother-in-law- Joyce "Sissy" & Jerry Estes, Cadiz, KY, Four Grandchildren- Rhayghen Ashby, John Peyton Meadows, LeeWhitney Meadows Rudolph and Will Ashby. She was preceded in death by: Father - Oscar Boyd Taylor, Mother - Ora Mae Moore Taylor, One Sister - Barbara Joiner, Four Brothers- James "Sonny" Taylor, Billy Joe Taylor, Guy Dell Taylor and Wendell Bruce Taylor. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday, September 05, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Monday, September 05, 2011 with the Reverend Kevin Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at East End Cemetery in Cadiz, KY.
